I’d like to say a huge thank you to all the staff and students at SAMS, The Scottish Association for Marine Science for inviting me to the campus at Dunstaffnage, near Oban this morning to talk about Brexit.

I know many of those who came along were EU nationals, so I took this opportunity to thank them for choosing to make Scotland their home and to tell them how their presence in Scotland has enriched us all; academically, economically, socially and culturally. I also promised them that I and my SNP colleagues would do everything we can to stop this catastrophic Brexit shambles and help them #StayinScotland
