Today I spent some time assisting the wonderful volunteers of the Scottish Mountain Bothy Association who are renovating “Abyssinia”, an old croft house in Glen Kinglas.
Thank you to Peter Rowell of the MBA for organising the visit and to all the volunteers who spend so much time restoring, renovating and repairing these old properties in order to ensure that folk who love our wild open spaces have somewhere to shelter.
I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and if my DIY skills survive the week, I’ll volunteer again for more soon.
