Despite a very successful Food Collection from Waitrose shoppers last weekend the Helensburgh & Lomond Food Bank desperately need donations of the following food in order to meet the increased demand from people within our community having to use the Food Bank to feed themselves and their families.foodbanks

To all our generous contributors, there are drop off baskets in Helensburgh Co-op, Waitrose, and TSI office in Colquhoun Square (used to be Ava office).
Items can also be dropped off at the Red Cross building 116 East Princess Street Helensburgh. G84 7DQ. 10-12 Monday & Friday and 6-8 on Thursday evenings
On Wednesday’s at the Howie pavillion Rosneath 1-3 pm. There are drop off points in numerous churches please check with your nearest one.

BAGS OF GRANULATED SUGAR 500g and 1kg
BOXES OF 80 TEABAGS
KIDS TREATS eg PEANUT BUTTER, NUTELLA SPREAD, JELLY

If you are able to, please update the FOOD URGENTLY NEEDED POSTERS in your store, church, workplace or office display areas and Food Collection Boxes.
