FOODBANK SUPPLIES URGENTLY NEEDED (October)foodbanks
I am writing on behalf of Helensburgh and Lomond Foodbank to thank you for the support you have given us and to let you know what items of food we are currently running low on.

The attached list will indicate which items are most needed at the moment. As always, food can be donated in the boxes at Waitrose or the Co-op, in the TSI office in Colquhoun Square and in most churches. The donations are most gratefully received.

Firstly a huge thanks to you for communicating our food needs to others. The response to last month’s “Desperate Appeal” for food was terrific and our Food Stock is today in a much healthier position thanks to the generosity of our local community.

Last month 118 Food Bags were issued from our Food Store and consequently Helensburgh & Lomond Food Bank continues to need your ongoing support. Low Stock needed this month is:-

TINS OF MEAT
TINS OF RICE PUDDING
TINS OF POTATOES
JARS OF CURRY SAUCE
JARS OF SWEET & SOUR SAUCE
BOXES OF 80 TEABAGS
BOXES OF BREAKFAST CEREALS
BOXES OF CEREAL BARS
BAGS OF SUGAR 500g & 1Kg
CARTONS OF LONG LIFE MILK 500ml & 1 Litre

Your ongoing kindness in communicating our food needs to others and the help we receive in gathering food for Helensburgh & Lomond Food Bank is greatly appreciated – thank you!
